Pushup Burpees
Dallas Personal Trainer - These are used extensively by the military and are also a favorite of many boxing coaches and many fitness boot camp instructors because of their fantastic ability to increase overall conditioning, endurance, and overall athleticism.
This is simply a pushup followed immediately by a squat jump followed immediately by a pushup and so on. For the pushup part, simply perform the kind of pushups that you currently perform in your workouts at your current fitness level. That could be knee pushups, bench pushups, or regular pushups. Each pushup and squat jump combination counts as one rep... so for example, if your personal trainer's workout program tells you to do 15 reps, you will perform a total of 15 pushups and 15 squat jumps per set.
