Handstand Pushups
Dallas Personal Trainer - A fantastic high level bodyweight based exercise for the shoulders that is an excellent option for clients who reach a high enough strength level to achieve it, although it is rarely used by personal trainers due to the fact that most clients never reach such a high strength level.
These are a high level exercise. When first beginning them, you will use a wall to help you balance. However, you may eventually get to the point that you can do them freestanding without anything to help you balance.
To do them against a wall: do a handstand about 1 foot from the wall and let your feet lean slightly against the wall for balance. Lower yourself under control until your head touches the floor, then press your hands into the floor to push you body back up to the startThighsing position. Your heels should slide smoothly along the wall. Don’t push them into the wall.
