Dallas Personal Trainer - An old-school exercise that is still very popular and used widely by Dallas personal trainers and strength coaches and trainers throughout the world.
Lie flat on your back on the ground with your knees tucked up over your hips with your feet off of the ground. Put your hands behind your head (and when you get strong enough, hold a weight plate behind your head) and crunch up. This is the starting position.
Once you are set, twist your torso while simultaneously pulling the opposite knee toward the elbow that is raised. Alternate sides by twisting back and forth and do the reps at a fairly quick rhythmic pace. Never lower your torso back to the ground completely or let your abs relax during the set. Keep your torso crunched up off of the ground and you abs tight throughout the exercise.
As always, we do not recommend performing any exercise without the supervision of a highly qualified Dallas personal trainer. This exercise description is for informational purposes only. Consult your doctor before attempting any workout program or attempting this exercise or any other exercise on this website.
